getting regular images taken of your family is a great way to see how you’ve all changed throughout the years.
I’ve enjoyed watching so many families grow and change over the years; it’s one of my favorite parts of being a photographer.
Whether you choose to update your family photos every year or every few years, I’ll make it as stress free as possible.
My style is simple and relaxed, so there won’t be an overwhelming amount of poses and unhappy kids. It will be a fun experience for the entire family.

Few things in the world are more exciting than a newborn baby.
Newborn images are ideally taken within the first 10 days of life while baby is still sleeping most of the day and before skin peeling and acne sets in.
The session takes place in your home using natural light and focusing on moments as a family. I have plenty of wraps, boxes, and baskets that I can bring for adorable posed images of your newborn as well.

I always suggest keeping things simple. Start with finding an outfit for the hardest person to dress (probably mom).
Choose something you’re comfortable in and something that reflects you. You can then build everyone else’s outfits around it.
A mix of solids and plaids work well together. I would stay away from graphics or prints that are too eye-catching. Layering with jackets and scarves are great and can add a pop of color just where you need it.
And lastly, try on the outfits before your photo session.

Kids grow up so fast! It’s easy to let the time of their childhood blur together as it flies by. But by scheduling a family photo shoot, you’ll capture a specific moment in their lives and in the lives of your family as a whole.
Photos of your family also make great gifts for your family and friends who live out of town. If they aren’t able to spend time with your family in person, they can still see a current photo of you in a frame or on a Christmas card.
Besides standard family portrait shoots, I offer special photo shoots for newborn babies and seniors in high school. Let your family and friends be a part of these key milestones in your kids’ lives.
